A second version of the upcoming Callaway Rogue Sub Zero has made an appearance on the USGA's Conforming Clubs list. This brings the total count of conforming Rogue flavors to 4.
Tasty!
The second version (right) of the Rogue Sub Zero differs from the first (left) in that it offers a single rear weight as opposed to the presumably adjustable front/back system of the first version.
The Rogue waters are starting to get a little cloudy, but it's a safe assumption that the single weight version will be higher MOI than the first, however, the center of gravity position will likely be higher. We'd also assume the design of the standard Rogue will follow that of Epic, meaning a higher CG offering with moderate to high MOI.
Callaway still hasn't offered anything by way of details, and in truth, the company has been generally light on technical details for the past couple of seasons (it's safer to repeat variations of Fast and Forgiving than to provide any verifiable technical design specifications). That said, the company's social media teasers suggest an embargo date of 1/16/2018, so we're still a few week out on full bean spillage.
More news, and maybe more models to follow.
