Callaway Launches Golf Lives Series

Post image for Callaway Launches Golf Lives Series

Callaway has just released the first docu-short in its new Golf Lives series. Phonetically, that's livs, not l-eye-vs, though either would work in this context, I suppose.

The film features Brad Jordan, who rap aficionados likely know better as Scarface. Callaway is billing Jordan as one of the most influential MCs of all-time - and if even if the name isn't ringing bells, I'm all but certain you're familiar with his music.

In addition to being an icon in the music world, Jordan is also a passionate golfer who, we're told, works on his game almost daily and plays over 300 rounds a year. I'd say that qualifies as avid.

The short film chronicles Jordan's thoughts on the game of golf as well as his experience getting fitted for, and playing with his new Callaway clubs.

At some point, we'll probably have a conversation about where this latest foray into the world of non-traditional golf media ventures fits within the larger Callaway strategy, but for now, I'm going to shut up and let you watch the show.

I'm desperately curious to hear your thoughts on the film itself, as well as how it makes you think, or perhaps more to the point, think differently about Callaway Golf.

For those of you who are easily put off by words that start with 'F' and rhymes with duck, might I suggest the censored version?
